If you would like to visit the European Capital of Culture Tallinn 2011 in spring, participate in organizing an international art event, take a behind-the-scenes look at the triennial, gain new contacts and enjoy the fruits of the work accomplished, then volunteer at Eksperimenta!. We welcome enthusiastic volunteers from all of the participating countries of Eksperimenta!, as well as from other countries!
The task of the volunteers is to guard and present the national expositions at the Song Festival Grounds during the exhibition’s opening period from May 3 to June 14, 2011. The exhibition halls are open from Tuesday to Sunday and volunteers can choose a suitable day and shift – both full shifts (8 hours) and part-time shifts (4 hours) are possible.
The volunteers of Eksperimenta! and the European Capital of Culture Tallinn 2011 are offered:
- A motivational package for Tallinn 2011 volunteers (training programmes, social events, free or reduced price tickets to Tallinn 2011 events);
- Eksperimenta! training and instruction;
- Free lunch at Eksperimenta! café at the Song Festival Grounds (with full shift);
- The opportunity to win a free trip to the Venice Biennale. The total value of the trip is €1200 and Eksperimenta! covers the cost of plane tickets, accommodation, biennale ticket as well as pocket money. The more you contribute with your help, the bigger your chances of winning!
